Eurorockéennes de Belfort is one of the biggest rock music festivals in France. Since 1989 the festival has taken place on the first weekend of July on the natural peninsula, Malsaucy. This festival was originally dedicated to European Rock music, bands, and musicians, but nowadays some of the world's most famous rock artists are on the lineup, such as the Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Iggy Pop. But the festival is also a stepping stone for new artists who can perform on the smaller stages. Free camping is included in the three-day tickets and the organization takes care of the environment and tries to recycle all the waste.
