About
Our beautifully restored and atmospheric village bourgeoise house is conveniently located between the Med and the mountains. If you love to cycle, swim or walk, or are house-buying, this is the perfect spot to stay. La liberte Chambres d'hotes is in a central position in the village of Autignac, with a shady park opposite. There is a general store, boulangerie, post office and a cafe/restaurant where you can sit, unwind, and enjoy the charms of southern France. In the house the floors and windows are restored, beautiful chandeliers adorn every room and there are stunning gilded mirrors and artworks from La Belle Epoque (French for "Beautiful Era") throughout the house. The rooms come with modern, comfortable touches. A king size bed with cool vintage French linen sheets for the summer and a fan and hairdryer in your room. The private bathrooms come with a shower and we supply face, hand and bath towels to each guest and complimentary bathroom products including shampoo, hand and body soaps and a razor. You will be served with a fresh breakfast every morning including fruit, croissants, breads, yoghurts and eggs with plenty of coffee and tea (a choice of flavours). Breakfast is served between 7.30 - 9Am. Breakfast can be taken on the terrace or in our dining room. In the evenings (advance booking is necessary) you can choose between a two or three course dinner. Locally sourced ingredients are used whenever possible. The meal price includes a half bottle of fine local wine per person and tea/coffee.
