Chateau de Castelneau dates back to the fourteenth century with further additions in the seventeenth century. Castelneau is listed as a historic monument. It is located in the heart of the wine growing Entre deux Mers region of South West France, midway between the Dordogne and Garonne, 10 km south of St. Emilion and 15 km north of the Sauternes wine region. Castelneau is fortified with four towers around a square courtyard and consists of several main buildings.
