Skiing The start of your day's skiing could not be simpler as the chalet is less than a minute's walk away from the piste. A 30 second ski down an easy blue run takes you to the main Montchavin lift, which opens up the entire Paradiski ski area. The location is ideal for novice skiers and experts alike - at the end of the day competent skiers can ski right back to the chalet, conditions allowing. For beginners, the same short walk leads you back to the chalet door. Accommodation The chalet is ideal for one or two families sharing, or adult groups. It comfortably sleeps 8 adults in 4 spacious double rooms, with stunning views over the surrounding mountains. The sleeping arrangements are flexible, with the fourth bedroom easily convertible into a dorm-style room sleeping 4 older children in 2 sets of bunk-beds. There is also space for small children to share the upper bedrooms with parents using either travel cots or pull out mattress beds if so desired. Chalet Features The interior of the chalet is decorated in traditional Savoyard style and is spread over three levels. There is a lovely terrace with magnificent views over the Mont Blanc massif, where on warmer evenings an après-ski drink can be enjoyed. There is an enclosed garden to the rear of the chalet, where children can safely play. Inside, the cosy lounge area has a wood burning stove and inviting sofas, providing a lovely area for friends and family to relax and unwind after a day on the slopes. Village Location The chalet is ideally situated, with the villages of Montchavin and its neighbour Les Coches both only a short walk away. There is also a free navette bus running from just outside the chalet to both villages for those who prefer to save their legs for skiing! The villages have a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops which are well worth a visit. Flexibility is at the heart of what we offer. You can therefore rent the chalet on a fully catered, self-catered or partially-catered basis depending on your requirements.
