With guaranteed snow and almost year-round skiing and boarding on its very own glacier, Tignes has a lot to offer both the serious skier and the eager novice. Along with Val d'Isère it forms the breathtaking Espace Killy, which offers 300km of some of the best skiing in Europe. Tignes itself is made up of five villages. Ski France offers accommodation in one of the most central - Le Lac.The busiest nightlife centre here is Val Claret, with some lively British bars, and a few nightclubs thrown in for good measure. Tignes offers a plentiful choice of restaurants, bars and nightclubs with the restauarts offering a range of fast food to the more traditional French cooking.
