Set out to conquer the red and white guardian of Caen la mer : Ouistreham lighthouse ! Take a deep breath and tackle the 171 spiral steps. The effort to climb its 38 metres is definitely worthwhile for the breath-taking 360° view of the resort and a limitless horizon. Self guided tour of the Lighthouse are possible only in July and August, on Saturdays and Sundays afternoon.
