About

The Chateau Saint-Sernin is a family vineyard which has been passed on generation after generation since 1619. In 2005, Anne Swartvagher, the current owner, officially took over the family-owned company. Together with her husband Heifara, they continue the wine adventure, driven by experience, passion and rigorousness. They manage a 38 hectare domain of Appellation d'Origine Controlee Cahors (Red wine), and a 6 hectare domain of Vin du Pays used to produce red wine, rose and sweet rose, based on a variety grape called Segalin. For a few years, they have been combining wine and art, by offering, during the summer, an exhibit of several old barrels turned into work of art by local artists. Do not hesitate to come visit us. We commit ourselves to give you the warmest welcome. We will be happy to take some time to show you our installations and to make you taste our Cahors Malbec wines, our Cotes du Lot cuvee, based on a a varitey grape called Segalin, for red wine, and on Malbec for dry and sweet rose. You will also have the opportunity to discover our new cuvees of Chardonnay (dry white wine) and petit Manseng (sweet white wine).
