Village d'Occi
About
The abandoned village of Occi, perched 377 meters above the town of Lumio, offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Balagne countryside. The site, which dates back to the 14th‑15th century, has been deserted since the 19th century and now presents crumbling stone houses, a restored church, and winding paths that invite exploration. Guided tours are offered free of charge every Friday evening from early July to late August, while concerts take place every Tuesday from June to September in the renovated church. Families, history enthusiasts and nature lovers will find the ruins a memorable stop during their Corsican adventure.
