The estate, in a beautiful natural setting, Acquired in December 1998 by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and her two sons, Philippe Sereys de Rothschild and Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild, this old estate, that already existed in the 17th century, has been subject to a major renovation of its vineyards and winemaking facilities. The 2003 vintage, Year 1 of Domaine de Baronarques, is one of the first to be awarded AOC Limoux rouge appellation. Due to the quality of its soil and its wines, Domaine de Baronarques takes it rightful place alongside the famous Rothschild family’s other estate, including the illustrious Château Mouton Rothschild. We welcome you from Monday to Friday between 10am and 5.30pm, and the weekend by appointment, for a visit and tasting.
