About
An exceptional site with a large soil variety, the area of Mont Ventoux is now classified as a biosphere area. This award from UNESCO, the honors exceptional and valuable natural resource of the area.The vineyard of Vignerons Mont Ventoux extends over 1000ha including 750 ha in AOC Ventoux and 250 ha in Vin de Pays or Table Wine. The vineyards are established on the south-western slope of the Mont Ventoux and profits from an abundance of sunshine and protection against the excess of Mistral, the violent wind from the north that blows in Provence.An altitude which varies between 200 and 500 meters allows the grapes to mature slowly and preserves freshness and aromas which fully expressed after the vinification.
