Our tranquil haven, set in the quiet beauty of the Lauragais countryside offers you the opportunity to live life at a slower pace on a more sustainable holiday. We have made lots of changes to ensure your safety during your stay with Nature’s Pace Holidays. We are: Closing down two of our gites Leaving at least three days between guests in each gite Using new cleaning protocols including 70% alcohol solutions Providing 70% alcohol gel for hand sanitising All of our bedlinen is professionally cleaned and packaged separately for each gite Arranging the use of the pool to allow one group at a time with dedicated space and sunloungers Changing our terms and conditions to be more flexible All of this will help you be safe and able to relax in our natural environment that allows you time to relax, connect and enjoy shared time together If you have any questions please contact us. We are happy to help. We are surrounded by fields and rolling hills which creates a natural environment that allows you time to breath, relax, connect and enjoy shared time together. We can accommodate everyone from couples to larger groups wanting to holiday together, make the most of our outdoor and covered shared spaces, to eat, sit or play together. Peaceful tree filled grounds offering shaded hideaways, a heated shared swimming pool, children’s playground, petanque terrain and private parking. An idyllic setting with lots of space to relax, to play or to use as a base to explore the area's many attractions nearby. You can watch the family on the trampoline with a morning coffee or head off for a walk to sample the views of the Lauragais plain stretching from the Montagne Noire to the Pyrenees. In the afternoon sit by the pool or in our gardens to read or just sit. As the evening approaches, play babyfoot or table tennis before enjoying an evening meal using the fabulous local produce from our onsite shop. After the sun has set, sit out and gaze at the stars to end the perfect day. If you are looking for something a bit more active, let us help you to explore the landscape by bike using the many on and off road options If it is culture you want there are many historical sites such as Carcassonne and Saissac or try our nearby lakes to swim, sail and picnic. We are also delighted to help make your holiday with us special through tailoring your stay with recommendations for days out to discover this heritage. Why not cycle to our local olive producer to sample their amazing oil and try some fascinating food pairings. Visit our local organic brewery to find out more about the beers and what organic beer really means. Visit Revel market which has been voted one of the best markets in France for local and organic produce. We are located in the small village of Montmaur in Aude just over the border with the Haute-Garonne. Our gites provide a great location for a rural escape from hectic lives without having to spend hours in the car to reach us. Only 45 minutes from both Toulouse and Carcassonne airports and accessible from both the A61 motorway and the main railway line between Toulouse and the Mediterranean. The cycle path ‘la rigole du canal du Midi’ stretching from the Canal du Midi to Revel and on to Lac St Ferreol lies on the other side of the village if you are travelling by bike or by boat. We have very good road links with the A61 motorway only 15 minutes away that. We are a great base to explore the Lauragaise and beyond: • Swim, walk or sail at Lac Saint Ferreol • Explore Cathar castles • Experience Carcassonne. • A day out in Toulouse • Sample the local markets such as Revel and come back to cook the perfect supper • Cycle and walk through the undulating surrounding country side • Take a tour of an organic vineyard • Hire a bike and cycle to Castelnaudary along the Canal du Midi and try the real Cassoulet
