About

The Clairvaux Castle welcomed several times Henry the Third, King of France between 1574 and 1589. Besides its beautiful architecture from the XVth, XVIth and XVIIIth century, the castle hosts the International Chess Game Museum, which is constituted of around 130 chess games. The masterpiece of the exhibition is Napoleon the First's campaign game.
