The family comes from a long line of winegrowers dating back to the 15th century through Bertrand's maternal branch (Farou). Pierre & Bertrand Couly have opted for sustainable viticulture. The estate has been awarded the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) label for its cultivation methods, which help to preserve biodiversity. The Domaine Pierre & Bertrand Couly aims to showcase the variety of the appellation's terroirs through the different cuvées it produces each year.
