Veules-les-roses is a charming family village, recognized among the most beautiful villages of France, where it is good to stroll along the course of the Veules, the smallest river in France, to discover its source, the watercress, the trough and water mills all the way to its mouth. You will find in the village many shops (grocery stores, butcher, bakery, restaurants including a gourmet, tea rooms, the post office, a garage-attendant, a tobacconist, a hairdresser, a nursery, clothing stores and souvenirs, the tourist office, a medical office, a nursing practice, a pharmacy ...). You will also find a nautical club, a cinema, events and summer exhibitions, tennis where you can participate in tournaments or take classes from an early age. Wednesday morning is the fairground market in the heart of the village. At the beach, swimming is supervised during the summer. A playground with a free pool are available on the seafront for young children. You will find excellent oysters and fresh fish on the seafront for sale on Saturdays and Sundays in low season and week during summer. We suggest you stay in our family home located in the central street of Veules-les-roses, 10min walk from the beach. You will find all the comfort to spend good moments with family or friends. The most of our house: the Veules passes in the garden and some ducks sometimes elect home! The house of 150m2 is constituted on the ground floor: an equipped kitchen, a living room with a decorative fireplace and an old piano, a large dining room, a laundry room (where household products are secured), a separate toilet. You will find in the kitchen: a mixed gas cooker, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a cafeteria, a nespresso, a microwave, a toaster, kettle, basic products (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar). 1st floor: 1 large bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 large Norman wardrobe, 1 love seat and a balcony whose access is only allowed to open and close the shutters, 1 small room with 1 single bed and 1 small dresser, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a large wardrobe 1 separate toilet, 1 large bathroom with a bathtub, 1 child's bath, 1 space to change the babies. The house maintained and clean, has central heating and double glazed windows. Not renovated, wallpapers and carpets are damaged in places. Enjoy the large garden by relaxing in a deckchair to the sound of water, sharing a charcoal barbecue on the terrace or playing with indoor or outdoor games at your disposal (molki, badminton, petanque plastic for children, many board games ...). To enjoy the garden exploded in the south, you will have at your disposal deckchairs, parasols, tables and chairs. For your safety and those of children, a barrier prevents access to the river and the bridge spanning. You can park up to 4 cars at the back of the house. In the village, there are some free parking places very popular in summer. The house is located in the main street 250m from the center and 10 min walk from the beach, you can walk easily. For each bed, you will have pillows, duvets and blankets available but sheets and towels are not provided. Linen rental can be considered if necessary. The package for the cleaning of exit is 50 € to ask during the reservation if you do not wish to do the cleaning yourself. Departure before 11am in the morning and arrival from 15h to negotiate on a case by case basis.
