Ame de la Terre
About
Ame de la Terre is a charming bed & breakfast situated just 4 km from the historic city of Dijon, in the heart of Burgundy’s renowned vineyard country. The property is a lovingly restored 19‑century manor house, where five eco‑friendly rooms – each 25 m² – combine rustic wood framing with modern comforts and offer stunning views of the surrounding garden. All rooms are wheelchair‑accessible and feature en‑suite bathrooms, Wi‑Fi, flat‑screen TVs, and free fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and cake in the common area. A carefully prepared breakfast buffet is served every morning from 7:30 to 10:30 am, and guests can enjoy a free early‑breakfast pick‑up option if they leave early. Guests also appreciate the on‑site boutique, where a curated selection of over 450 regional wines and more than 60 German beers are available for purchase. The friendly hosts – Philippe, a Master Sommelier, and his wife Simone – are on hand to recommend wine pairings and share insider tips about the best local eateries. The B&B’s proximity to Dijon’s cultural landmarks – including the Musée des Beaux‑Arts, the Palais des Ducs, and the 12th‑century Church of Saint Étienne – makes it an ideal base for day trips to the city as well as a quiet retreat to experience authentic Burgundian life.
