Le Local
About
Le Local is a charming French bistro tucked along the scenic Canal des Tanneurs in Dole. Since July 2019, chef‑owner Julien Brunet has created a menu that showcases the best of local, seasonal ingredients in a warm, family‑friendly setting. Diners can choose between an intimate indoor dining room or a welcoming terrace that offers a relaxed view of the canal during the warmer months. The menu features a range of thoughtfully prepared dishes—from freshly poached eggs and seared sardines to duck breast in a citrus‑marinated jus and a selection of hearty burgers. Vegetarian and vegan options abound, and the restaurant also offers a well-curated wine list and specialty cocktails. Guests appreciate the attentive, friendly service and the relaxed atmosphere, making it a favorite for both casual lunches and special celebrations such as birthdays, bachelor parties or corporate events.
