Chateau de Berne cellar
About
The Château de Berne estate spans 150 ha of terraced vineyards on the Triassic plateau of the Haut‑Var region, surrounded by 350 ha of forest. The cool nights allow slow, elegant ripening, yielding refined Côtes de Provence reds, rosés, and whites that are celebrated across Provence. The estate practices organic farming and features modern winemaking facilities. Visitors can explore the tasting cellar, learning about the vineyard’s terroir and winemaking process – a tour typically takes about two hours and is available by appointment. In addition, the château offers a boutique hotel, villas, a spa, and various gastronomic venues such as Le Jardin de Berne, Les Tables du Chef, L’Olivier de Berne, and the Bistro, all providing ample opportunities for wine, food, and relaxation in the Provençal landscape.
