The property is situated on the square of a charming 13th century 'bastide' village in the Lot. The terrace, where breakfast and dinner can be served, has panoramic views of the countryside. The two double-bedded bedrooms are modest but practical and are in an independent wing of the house, which is entirely on ground floor level with no steps. We charge 55 euros for one person and 15 euros for each extra person, breakfasts are included in the price. There is a 20% reduction for a week. The Atelier is a haven for artists and writers as well as hikers and lovers of historic sites. The studio is available for artist's or writer's residencies, or for those who simply want a dedicated space in which to work. The owner, a British art historian is pleased to advise you on walks in the area and which historic sites to visit. The Lot is a county that has been little affected by the Covid 19 crisis and Atelier de la Rose is in a commune where no known cases have been reported. It is a true refuge from all the troubles of the 21st century.
