Under new ownership since September 2021! Built in a U-form on the foundations of a 13th century castle, Domaine La Croze consists of a private residence (owners on-site) and three gites (vacation homes). There is a three bedroom gite with three bathrooms, one with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and finally one with two bedrooms and one bathroom. All gites have their own terrace with a lounge area and an outside dining table (with BBQ). La Croze is situated alongside the river Lot. From the garden as well as from the terraces of the gites, you can enjoy the lovely view and the calming sound of the river. There is a saltwater pool and a tennis court on site. The pool and sun loungers around the pool are shared. Yoga and Pilates classes are offered by the owner. Domaine La Croze is in a fantastic location in the Lot department of France. Set amidst many of Cahors vineyards, the region offers plenty of highlights it is well known for. Apart from enjoying the river and its many activities, Vire sur Lot is close to plenty of Instagram worthy villages and towns such as Puy-l’Evêque, Saint Cirq la Popie, Figeac, Cahors and the villages in the Dordogne valley. You can easily spend your days there strolling around, grabbing a coffee, a drink or a meal on one of the many terraces. For outdoor lovers, there are around 160 km bike paths along the river as well as enough landscapes to enjoy a good hike. In the close vicinity there are some high end restaurants as well as wine houses.
