About

Château Trapaud is located at Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse, extends over 25 hectares. We produce wines on Appellation Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Castillon Côte de Bordeaux and Vin de France (Wine of France). It takes its origins at the end of the 15th century, when the Trapaud family settled there. The Château then changed ownership until 1925, when Georges Larribière bought the vineyard, composed of vine, grasslands and cattle. Representing the 4th generation, Béatrice has upgraded the winemaking process and converted the vineyard to organic agriculture in 2009. Her constant commitment to a respectful agriculture has been confirmed in 2022 with the environmental label « High Environmental Value ». The notoriety of Château Trapaud has been built thanks to Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, produced with talent by various generations of winemakers. Her technical mastery is associated with her instinctive nature to produce subtle and generous wines.
