About

The Parc Animalier des Pyrénées is a 14‑hectare wildlife park on the French side of the Pyrenees, home to roughly 500 animals representing 120 species. Open year‑round from 09:30 to 18:00, the park invites visitors to walk two themed paths that take about 2 h 30 min and 3 h 30 min respectively, offering a relaxed, immersive glide through alpine wildlife. Visitors can enjoy hands‑on keeper‑run experiences, such as the "Soigneur d’un Jour" and the 30‑minute VIP sessions with pandas, marmots, wallabies and lemurs. Overnight stays are available in the wolf, bear, panda and olive‑tree lodges, allowing guests to share a night with their favourite animal keepers. With its easy to navigate layouts, friendly staff, and variety of activities, the park is a superb destination for families, nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Tickets can be purchased online or at the park entrance. The standard adult price is €22.00 and €16.00 for children aged 3–11. Children under 2 years enter for free, while disabled visitors enjoy a discounted rate (€19.00 for adults and €13.00 for children). A yearly pass is also available. The park offers an unrivalled chance to learn about Pyrenean wildlife in an authentic, interactive setting, while supporting conservation and breeding programmes for species such as the black bear, red panda and European lynx.
