This museum located close to the city center of Lyon provides a wide range of French military aircrafts (around 30), all restored and displayed to contribute to the preservation of this heritage. *Managed by volunteers only, the EALC Museum is proud to restore any kind of airplane or helicopter which flew within the french military forces (air force, navy, army) in order to exhibit in an interesting manner those exciting pieces of history and engineering to any visitor. *Every visit lasts around 2 hours and provides an included guided tour offering visitors miscellaneous facts, information and stories about each aircraft. You can even seat in a real Mirage 2000 and/or Jaguar cockpit! Children welcome (no cockpit access under 8 though). *EALC is an independent association who has strong and close relationships with the French Forces and French manufacturers such as Safran or Dassault, and will welcome you Wednesdays to Sundays from 2pm to 6:00pm (last tour at 4pm). Closed on Mon-Tue.
