About
Located in a former XIXth century textile factory, at the heart of the regional Natural reserve of Haut-Languedoc, the departmental Textile Museum testifies of the rich know-how and industrial heritage of Tarn. The collections of the Museum present the techniques of the carded wool, since the transformation of the raw material up to the finished product. The visit is livened up by demonstrations of machines, performed by the team of the museum or by the ancient workers who transmit all their passion of the job. Temporary exhibitions and creative activities complete the museographic route and introduce the visitor to the arts and textile techniques of the whole world.
