About
Melac was built by the important Hospitalier Gozon family on the front of plateau of Larzac between the 14th an the 16Ith century. Melac is a "repaire" with four main buildings linked by towers enclosed a vast inner courtyard with arcades and galleries. Guided tour by the owner: guardroom, the original 15th tower, Renaissance tower, dairy flat,etc. Story of the epic destiny of Dieudonne de Gozon, grand Master of the Hospitalier Order. Music festival "Musicales de Melac" in july and august
