Located on the mythic site of the former Latécoère base in Biscarrosse, the Museum presents the history of the seaplane aviation. From transatlantic flights to New York and Fort-de-France to firefighting, you will be able to discover the universe of these everlasting air liners ! Our aeronautical Museum presents, as part of its temporary and permanent exhibitions, restored seaplanes, uniforms, memorabilia of famous pilots, reproductions, photographs, engines, propellers, archival parts, flight logs, trophies, wetsuits, paintings by Air and Navy painters ... Some Various and numerous visit supports will allow you to follow the path of some of the greatest aviation’s pioneers such as: Latécoère, Saint-Exupery, Mermoz and many others.
