Created in 1974, Chateau Bellevue La Foret is a vineyard of 100 hectares located in Fronton, 30 km north of Toulouse. It is the largest single privately owned wine estate in the emerging Southwest of France. The Negrette, unique grape variety in the world, gives supple wines and an extraordinary fruitiness. Chateau Bellevue La Foret produces red and rose wines under the Fronton Appellation, using the emblematic Negrette, with Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Gamay. The best red wines are aged in oak barrels. The wines are regularly awarded in competitions worldwide. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 12:00 am and 2:00 to 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:30 to 12:30 am and 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Closed on Sundays and public holidays. Free tasting and sales. Visits on request Monday to Friday: Guided tours through the cellar including comments on the wine-making and a tasting of the wines. Free access hiking trails through the vines (2.5km and 4.5km). Possibility to picnic in the park of the Chateau with view on the vineyard.
