About
Feudal castle built between the 11th and 14th centuries on a rocky outcrop, destroyed after the French Revolution and restored between 1997 and 2017 by the association of the Friends of Saint-Montan helped by 3500 young volunteers from everywhere and a mason craftsman local. It consists of a primitive castle (the dungeon) and a second castle separated by a 2000 m2 courtyard surrounded by ramparts. From the window of the seigniorial room we have a dominant view of the village, the Rhone valley and Mont Ventoux.
