Planete Sauvage
About
Planète Sauvage, located just 15 minutes from Nantes in the Loire‑Atlantique region, is one of France’s most unique zoological parks. Visitors can experience an immersive safari journey through a 15‑segment track that showcases giraffes, lions, elephants and many more African species in their natural habitats, all while driving their own cars. The park also offers a 4×4 off‑road adventure and a dolphinarium, «Cité Marine», where guests can meet bottlenose dolphins and learn about their behaviour. Beyond the wildlife, Planète Sauvage boasts themed walking paths such as the jungle trail, the Inca trail, and the jungle temple, as well as the spectacular 4×4 Raid, a guided tour that lets you get up close to the animals. The park is family‑friendly and provides educational presentations, guided tours, and a seasonal «Illuminations Sauvages» nighttime event. With a variety of ticket options, including adult, child, senior, and special-pass arrangements, Planète Sauvage offers flexibility for every type of visitor. Their online booking system makes purchasing tickets convenient, and the park is known for its welcoming staff, high animal welfare standards, and an engaging mix of adventure and learning.
