Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild
About
Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild is a breathtaking Belle Epoque palace perched on the French Riviera, overlooking the Mediterranean. Built by Baronne Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild between 1907 and 1912, the villa houses an extraordinary collection that ranges from Sèvres porcelain and Vincennes ceramics to 18th‑century paintings by Boucher, Tiepolo, and other masters. The interiors, with their sumptuous décor, are complemented by nine meticulously designed themed gardens—French formal, Spanish, Florentine, Lapidary, Japanese, Exotic, Provençal, and a roseshed—offering visitors a micro‑world of horticultural art. Health and safety guidelines remain in place: visitors 16 years and older must present a valid vaccination or health pass, while children 12–15 years also need a pass. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays. A perfect destination for art lovers, history enthusiasts, families, and gardening aficionados alike, the villa delivers cultural elegance, botanical beauty, and a serene seaside experience that makes it a highlight of the Côte d’Azur.
