Mas du Notaire

In the hamlet of Gallician, once you pass througt the entrance gate, you see the facades of Mas du Notaire : simple and pleasing to the eye, built from dressed stone and flint ; the shutters are a cheerful and festive shade of red, appropriate to the Camargue. The interior of the Mas is a harmonious blend of noble materials : flagstone floors, Beaucaire limestone, old style wooden beams, patterned-cement floors and whitewashed walls ... A great deal of care has gone into the warm decoration : linen drapes, velvet bedspreads, coloured old dyed-in-the-warp bed linen ... thought out down to the last detail.
