About
The working museum of weaving and slipper-making traces the history of the textile industry in the Perigord-Limousin region, birthplace of the Charentais slipper. All the local textile techniques, from hemp and wool production to the traditional method of slipper-making, are presented. The 19th-century village weaver's house recreates the interior life of a peasant spinner and weaver.
