In the middle of the Provence, just 12 km from the foot of Mont Ventoux, you’ll find the impressive limestone cliffs ‘Dentelles de Montmirail’. In the middle of its amazing valley with its hilly landscape and AOC vineyards, our charming B&B is situated on the edge of the picturesque village Lafare. Au Soleil du Bonheur, where breakfast is a sacred start of your day. In the evening you will be able to enjoy a homemade dinner together with your hosts and the other guests. The garden and terraces of both the main house and the guest rooms are all south facing, allowing us to enjoy the sun all day long. This B&B has 5 lovely guest rooms on the ground floor. All rooms have their private bathroom, entry and terrace with panoramic view on the garden, the vineyard and the impressive limestone cliffs. Its Provencal garden has a cozy pool (6 m x 2.75/3.25 m), where you can cool off on a hot day. There will be a sports room in the main house. The main house is where we live. On the ground floor are the shared living room, the dining room and the professional kitchen. On summer days we eat outside on the terrace as often as possible. On days when it is too cold to eat outside, we serve breakfast and the table d’hôtes in the dining room, and after a long walk or bike ride you can warm up by the fireplace in the living room. In all seasons it is a unique location for adults looking for an active or sportive holiday combined with tranquillity, comfort and relaxation as well as good food and wine in an authentique Provencal ambiance. A place for the active guest who loves the overwelming nature and who also wants to enjoy the layback lifestyle of the Provence. The Vaucluse is full of activities. For active travelers and sportslovers it is a true paradise. And not only for the cyclists amongst us, but also for hikers, runners and trailrunners. There are more then 3.000 km of marked tracks. We are more than happy to help you in defining your daily activities and tracks.
