Nestled in the rolling vineyards of Beaumes‑de‑Vénise, Le Clos Saint Saourde is a charming guesthouse that blends Provençal heritage with contemporary comfort. The property, dating back to the 18th century, was lovingly restored in 2004 and now offers a selection of semi‑troglodyte guest rooms, each uniquely decorated to reflect the rustic soul of the old farmhouse. The hosts – the four friends Patrick, Véronique, Marnix and Katy – greet guests in multiple languages and provide attentive service that customises every stay to the visitor’s needs. Beyond its elegant rooms, the centerpiece of the accommodation is a 6 × 12 m heated pool, open from mid‑May to mid‑October, but available all year round to those with an adventurous spirit. Adjacent to the pool lies a well‑equipped summer kitchen and a terrace with a boule field and ping‑pong table. Wellness enthusiasts can enjoy the hammam and spa rooms from September to June, enjoying essential‑oil treatments and a bubbly bath. Every morning, between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., guests are treated to a complimentary breakfast featuring local cheeses, charcuterie, pastries, jams, and fresh juices – served in the charming bistro, courtyard or poolhouse depending on the season. Le Clos Saint Saourde is not only a retreat for relaxation but also a gateway into the heart of Provence. Its central location on the Côtes du Rhône wine route makes it an ideal base for exploring nearby vineyards, the Mont Ventoux, the Luberon and the Alpilles.
