In the heart of St Germain des Pres, Dilettantes just opened its doors. Dilettantes offers a selection of 130 rare and authentic champagnes, mostly from grand cru terroir, all elaborated by craftsmen winemakers. You will taste a glass of champagne in the XVII century cellar, surrounded by the bottles elaborated by these artists. Should you wish to go further, you will have the opportunity to taste confidential champagnes cuvees and to discover the 4 main regions that make champagne and the 3 different champagne grapes (pinot noir, chardonnay, pinot meunier). There, you will taste and experience what makes the magic and the mystery of champagne : the terroir, the grapes, the year, the blend... You will understand that champagne is not only the preferred french wine for aperitif but also a perfect wine for a dinner, should you care for the paring with the dishes. All the champagnes you will taste are also available for take away, or delivery...At the right temperature
