According to the local archives the oldest evidence of Château Lafitte dates from the 14th century: back then it used to stand as a major traditional farming property in which winemaking was already essential. For over thirty years, the current owners Philippe and Brigitte ARRAOU have worked to give the property its original family spirit through the re-launching of the wine production.The spirit of Château Lafitte favours pleasure and conviviality. Here the “savoir-vivre” comes with the “savoir-faire” thanks to a warm and perfectionist team. Whether by the vineyard, in the wine warehouse or round the table, our purpose is to share and offer the fruit of our generous land, treated in harmony with nature. Château Lafitte Vins de Jurançon offers a small and exclusive production of organic and natural wines. For a visit with a winetasting with Antoine, the son of Philippe & Brigitte, and the winemaker.
