150year old house full of comfortable sofas with modern additions like an American fridge ,2sitting rooms one with wide screen tv .The house overlooks a private garden with pool and two outdoor terraces one with a big parasol and table with barbecue adjacent .all aesthetically beautiful.. For walkers and cyclist we are at foot of the Pyrenees. The beaches are very close and the next door village has 5good restaurants and a couple of bars. Spain is 5 mins away Barcelona is an hour and a half and so are the sky slopes in the winter. The light in this area is stunning hence why Matisse and Picasso came here ..there is a wonderful modern art museum in Ceret that also has a great market on Saturday . I will leave a list of all the best places to go to in the area.
