Slap bang in the middle of the Three Valleys, Méribel has a fantastic location, access to some of the best skiing in the world, and a vibrant nightlife. Created by a Brit, and decidedly un-French, this purpose-built resort is very popular with UK skiers in search of varied pistes and riotous evenings.The round of happy hours, live music and general revelry starts relatively early in Méribel, and usually carries on into the wee small hours. There are plenty of pubs to choose from, and a wide-ranging selection of restaurants, including some top-notch Michelin-starred establishments. During the day, there are plenty of non-ski activities on offer, including swimming, skating, hiking, snowshoeing, hang gliding, ice climbing and dog sledging.
