About

Property is Temporarily Closed Situated in the old « Chamonix Palace » (the first of 3 palaces to be built in Chamonix at the beginning of the 20th century) , this beautiful museum retraces the development of Chamonix from the first tourists who came to admire the « glacieres de Savoye » to the golden age of winter sports. An important collection of prints illustrates the considerable changes of the valley between the 18th and 20th century, but you can also admire photographs, paintings, relief maps, ancient objects and all that constitutes the memory of the valley.
