Our 19th century residence is located at the entrance of Turquant, labellised as a charming village recognized as one of the most «seductive» of the Western Loire Valley and in the heart of the international tourist hub of Grand Saumurois. Ideally located in the Loire Valley at the crossroads of three regions: Anjou, Touraine and Poitou. Saumurois holds the most important troglodytic heritage in the world, and TURQUANT is distinguished by its hillside troglodytes valued through artists' workshops, craft shops and an interpretive trail to learn everything from the troglodyte habitat. Located in the valley of the Côte Saumuroise, the 13 winemakers of the municipality will warmly welcome you to discover their production mainly from the grape varieties of Chenin and Cabernet franc. You can also admire a church whose presence is attested from 12° S., which is classified among the «welcoming churches of Anjou» and especially classified historical monument since 1967.
