Domaine Les 3 Mazets

About

Located in Villeveyrac (34) in the Languedoc region, Les 3 Mazets is a natural wine-growing estate with living soil. It has been certified organic since its creation in 2016. I practise agro-ecology here, the aim of which is to produce healthy, natural grapes, while at the same time implementing methods that respect the logical cycle of biology, revive the life of the soil, generate biodiversity, protect water resources, sequester carbon and air-condition the plots. Today, thanks to this approach and scientific experimentation, the pairing of soil and plant is maintained in good health and the vines are free from treatments. This natural approach to viticulture is used on 6 hectares of the estate to produce a range of red wines. An oenologist would describe my reds as velvety smooth, very fruity, with good balance and complexity. But for me, making these wines was all about sharing a good time with friends or family and enjoying the moment. Luc Fonta, artisan winemaker
