Strasbourg Cathedral, formally known as Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg, is a stunning example of Rayonnant Gothic architecture in Alsace. The cathedral is open to visitors every day for guided tours—free of charge—with open hours from Monday to Saturday, 08:30–11:15 and 12:45–17:45, and from Sunday and public holidays, 14:00–17:15. The administrative office is located at 1 rue de Rohan, 67000 Strasbourg, and can be reached at +33 3 88 21 43 34. The guide for school groups, Monsieur François Muller, is also available at +33 6 17 50 05 12 if visits are arranged by school. In addition, the cathedral offers an ascension platform on the upper level that is accessible during distinct seasonal windows: 09:30–13:00 and 13:30–20:00 from 1 April to 30 September, and 10:00–13:00 and 13:30–18:00 from 1 October to 31 March, with the last ascent at 19:15 and 17:15 respectively. The platform provides panoramic views of the city and the surrounding Rhine valley. Visitors wishing to support the cathedral may also offer a mass intention donation, which starts at 18 € or more (amounts are not limited).
