In late 2014 the city hotel Haus Zauberflote (,,Magic flute") opens in Offenburg. The listed building was built in 1862 and since then has operated as a guesthouse. In 2014 the premises have been under renovation and modernization by owner Willi Schoellmann. The Haus Zauberflote (,,Magic flute") offers 7 Double rooms and one Suite, a restaurant, cafe, bar, a wine cellar, a small meeting room for up to twenty people: Kaltloch-Zimmer (,,The cold hole room"), and a garage gallery. Renowned artists such as Stefan Strumbel, OliverRath, Blek le rat, Stefan Marx and Herr von Eden have been engaged to add a unique special flair to the to the interior decoration. Each room is individually styled and lovingly furnished with attention to detail, and all rooms have a bathroom, minibar and free wi-fi access.
