Chateau du Gerfaut
About
The family castle Château du Gerfaut is a smart alternative to hotel stay in charming rooms and suite with all the modern comfort in the Loire Valley. Built in 1909 by our grandfather, the Gerfaut was originally intended to be a hunting lodge. It was on his land that the Kings of France, François I and Louis XI came to hunt with their “Gerfauts” (falcons) who gave their name to the property. Elsie, Phanette and Noémie rooms and suites have just been restored, respecting the heritage, and highlighting the noble materials preserved: parquet floors, magnificent fireplaces, mouldings… The choice of decoration of our accommodations, sober and chic, combined with the terrace in front of the parc, brings softness and comfort in this soothing place.
