Chateaufort is a luxurious 19th century privately owned chateau in the heart of the Loire Valley; available for exclusive rental or for bed and breakfast with optional evening meal.Just a short walk from the picturesque town of Langeais, between Tours and Angers, Chateaufort sits in an estate of 22 acres (9 hectares) of formal gardens, with vegetable garden, orchard, woodland and rolling fields. Renovated to a luxurious standard, the 19th Century chateau offers suites, double and twin accommodation for up to 15 guests, in individually designed en-suite bedrooms. Activities at Chateaufort include an outdoor heated swimming pool, golf driving range, disc/frisbee golf, archery, croquet and pétanque. Chateaufort is close to many vineyards and large chateaux open to the public.
