About

The King of Rome’s Palace: Built between 1809 and 1811 at the initiative of Napoleon I, this private mansion was quickly assigned to the Emperor’s son. It follows the same plans as the Government House built on the same site in the late 18th century. Today, this monument shelters a museum of art and history and welcomes temporary exhibitions.
