Moulin Dozol

About

Built in 1750 on a site devoted to olives, the Dozol family old oil mill is to be found along the embarment just downstream of Nyons's famous 14th century bridge. You can taste and purchase our fine Protected Designation of Origins (AOP) Olive oil directly from us at our old mill, just downstream the famous roman bridge, the most iconic place of Nyons. It is open all year round and welcomes visitors and lovers of fine natural regional produces and local artisan products. At harvest time, from december to january, you can visit the new mill in full production of. Outside harvest time, a video is shown of the oil mill in operation. Brined Nyons olives, local olive paste, honey, local sweetmeats, herbs, herb teas, many varieties of olive-oil soap with flower-oil and aromatic-plant fragrances, olive-oil beauty-care products, Provençal fabrics, olive wook ustensils, pottery, ... All products found here with a warm welcome and the shining sun are typical of the Drôme provençale region !
