Open since 1993 in the town of Serbannes, the "interior" course of the Vichy-Montpensier golf course is a superb 18-hole course nestled in the heart of the Bourbon territory and the historic area of ​​the Montpensier forest. Designed by architects James Engh and Thierry Sprecher, the course, open all year round, is subtly laid out in the middle of a magnificent forest of hundred-year-old oaks. If the slightly undulating fairways seem generous, the permanent presence of the forest, a few water obstacles and numerous streams make it necessary to drive with precision and to raise the ball well when attacking the greens.
