Welcome to the Ceramic Museum - Creative Centre in Ger! Discover the work and life of the ancient potters of Ger. From the 15th century to the beginning of the 20th century, stoneware pots, intented for the conservation and transport of food, were made here in industrial quantities! The museum, completely refurbished in recent years, offers you a rich and dynamic visit, through a selection of objects, ambience, playful modules, and also audiovisual shows. Walking through the workshop, the dryer shed and the large kilns, you will discover the process of making pots, from the extraction of clay to their delicate cooking. In the master potter’s house, you will understand the economic and social organization of this incredible potters' community. A centre for ceramic promotion : the museum has a collection of contemporary pieces, produced by renowned designers. The annual festival of potters, the reception of young nursery ceramists, the pottery courses and the shop are all actions
