The Gutfelder Hof is a traditional, freestanding Bavarian homestead in Rottach-Egern’s “green nook”, embedded in farm meadows and with surround views of Mt. Wallberg and the Lower Alps. It is the only building in all of Rottach-Egern which for 250 m on all sides looks onto nothing but green fields and serene nature! Yet its location is also quite central: Within a few minutes’s walk, you will reach two popular Bavarian restaurants. After another 2.5 km follows the town centre of Rottach-Egern and the shore of Lake Tegernsee. Also, you can use any of the Tegernsee Valley’s RVO bus lines free of cost from a bus stop that is a about 400 m away from our homestead. In summer, you can easily take off directly from the homestead for a hiking, cycling or mountain biking tour on any level of difficulty. In winter, a cross-country ski track begins 20 m away from the homestead. Alternatively, you can reach the Spitzingsee ski resort by car or free shuttle bus within a few minutes.
