Weingut Kopp
About
Weingut KOPP - Est. 1996 The stringent classification of our wines is especially shaped by the different features of the vineyards and the different ways of cultivation. Our * estate wines * (basic wines) are typical of the variety developed and fruit-shaped representatives of each grape variety. For the Burgundy wines we make a cuvée of 2-3% a lot in the barrique, to support on the palate. However, the fruit should be in the foreground. The * Terroir wines * (special soil quality) we refer to the name of the respective soils. We want to outline the above-average high variety of various soils (loam, clay, Rotliegend, sandstone, red porphyr, upper carboniferous, granite,...) in our region. The wines are always completely dry and age in large oak casks. Our * Special vineyard wines” are ageing to 100% in barriques. They come from special layers, which particularly influence the wines with soil and microclimate.
